Family Mountain Baranci

Baranci is the popular mountain for family excursions. The 4-seater chair lift is situated 3 minutes from San Candido village centre and takes you quickly up to an altitude of 1,500 m. Many attractions await visitors up here:
• Giant’s Realm Baranci: On the family trail you can go in search of the Giant Baranci and playfully explore his realm at various stations and learn a lot about his history and life. No matter if you are little or grown up, the realm guarantees a lot of fun!
• Relaxing Area: A large meadow with the “giant’s footprint” lakes invites you to relax, sunbathe and splash around.
• Very close to the “giant’s footprint” lakes you’ll find the Dwarf Village. High up in the branches there are quaint tree houses which you can explore via ladders and rope bridges. The life of a dwarf is reflected in the nine mountain huts below.
• Funbob: The Funbob, the longest summer toboggan run in South Tyrol, takes you back down to the valley.
