Attention: In case of insufficient snow, a winter hike will be carried out. Walk through San Candido to the starting point of the snowshoe hike (Parkhotel Sole Paradiso). First through the (hopefully) snowy spruce forest to Bagni di San Candido. Then a comfortable one and a half to two hour walk to the Rifugio Gigante Baranci (refreshment stop approx. 1 hour). Descent of your choice. You can opt to take the cable car. Otherwise, the walk back to San Candido via a different route takes one hour. Our taster course is aimed at adults and young people aged 12 and over who would like to learn the basics of this winter sport. Under expert guidance, you will learn the first steps of the technique, try your hand at cross-country skiing and enjoy the winter wonderland. No previous experience is required.

Carnival in the Park of Mitterolang offers a cheerful afternoon full of colour, creativity, and fun. After the competition comes the party! The big biathlon party continues on the race days in the Biathlon Gaudi village in Antholz Mittertal. Great live music bands and cool DJs provide the right sound and a great atmosphere until late into the night. There's also delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit! Knödel are not just dumplings, they are the ultimate South Tyrolean dish and no one knows this better than Franzi. At the Lechnerhof she creates them with the guests and shows them what must be included in the traditional food and dispels many culinary legends. Spinach, cheese, beetroot - different types of dumplings are prepared and, of course, tasted together. And the recipes? You can take them with you to become the king of the kitchen back home.

The illuminated cross-country ski trail in Riscone offers a unique experience for skiing enthusiasts every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday until 8.00 pm. Perfectly groomed tracks and atmospheric lighting make gliding through the winter landscape a special highlight.

The loop trail at the Toblach cross-country skiing stadium invites all cross-country skiing enthusiasts to enjoy a unique experience, suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. The varied and perfectly groomed track is ideal for those taking their first steps on skis, while also being a popular training venue for numerous national cross-country ski teams from around the world. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., the trail is free of charge and offers the chance to enjoy a magical evening ski in a special atmosphere combining sport, nature and relaxation.

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass Kronplatz. All others pay an entry fee of €5.00. No registration is required.

We set off into Valle di Braies Vecchia by minibus from San Candido and using the snow-covered road towards Prato Piazza we reach the 2000 meters high alpine plateau. From there it’s a short walk to Rifugio Prato Piazza (base camp). There, we put on our snowshoes. Past Swiss pine woods we gently cross the high plateau and climb Monte Specie (2,307 m). A stunning circular view and intense winter fun for relatively small climbing effort. Refreshment stop possible at the end of the hike. Snowshoe Tour to the Three Peaks with Mountain Guide Strobl Luis Every Thursday from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Departure from Misurina by snowmobile to the Auronzo Hut, followed by a hike to the world-famous north faces of the Three Peaks. Return to the Auronzo Hut and descent to Misurina by sled or snowmobile. Alternative tour in case of dangerous snow conditions: Monte Piana.

With our mountain guide Manuel we drive into the Höhlensteintal `till we arrive at the parking area before the Lake of Misurina. By snowmobile (must be paid separately) we ride above to the Alpine hut Rifugio Bosi. From there we start with our snowshoes to the Monte Piana to reach the Open Air Museum of the First World War. After our historic circuit hike we return to the Rifugio Bosi. It expect us the 5 km long sledging run slope among the UNESCO World Heritage with a stunning view to the most popular peaks of the Dolomites, like the Drei Zinnen of Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo, the Tofana peaks and many others. A spectacular adventure for the whole family! Due to weather or snow conditions, the tour may be subject to changes. The rental of snowshoes and sled is included in the price.

The loop trail at the Toblach cross-country skiing stadium invites all cross-country skiing enthusiasts to enjoy a unique experience, suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. The varied and perfectly groomed track is ideal for those taking their first steps on skis, while also being a popular training venue for numerous national cross-country ski teams from around the world. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., the trail is free of charge and offers the chance to enjoy a magical evening ski in a special atmosphere combining sport, nature and relaxation.
