Together with our mountain guide Manuel we will start our crossing of the Prags Dolomites from the Brunst Alp. After two hours of hiking we will reach the start of the fixed rope route, where Manuel will give us a short introduction to the equipment. As soon as the climbing harness is properly fastened and the helmet is on, we will start our adventure. After a breathtaking, beautiful climb of difficulty level A (easy) we will reach the exit. If time permits, we will climb up to the summit cross at the Hochalpenkopf and enjoy the spectacular panorama in the middle of the Dolomites, with views of the Prags Dolomites, the Rieserferner and the Zillertal Alps. After a short rest we will descend step by step to the Pragser Wildsee Lake and let the day end comfortably.We will return to Olang by bus and by train and we will look up to the mastered summit with amazement. We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20, to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Bergila Relax Tour Our tour starts in the picturesque village of Reischach and first leads us towards St. Georgen and through the gentle landscapes of the Puster Valley. We take the bus to Sexten/Sesto and from there the cable car up to the Helm (2.050 m). The Olperl’s Nature Park starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable car and leads to Olperl's best friends - into the realm of the alpine animal world. On the 1,5 km long circular trail you can discover 10 exciting adventure points - with great views of the summit world of the Sesto Dolomites. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. Soft moss, fragrant larch wood, stone slabs or pebbles revitalise the foot reflex zones before the feet are bathed in cooling spring water. Together with Lanz Active, we discover some hidden gems around Toblach. From Old Toblach, the hike leads past the parish church to the scenic ZweiWasserBrunnen, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the village and surrounding mountains. Here, you can taste the two characteristic waters of Toblach: the iron-rich water from the foot of Mount Pfannhorn and the calcium-rich water from the Höhlenstein Valley. Following a quiet, little-used hiking trail, we continue through larch and spruce forests up to the Lachwiesenhütte, where a relaxing break offers stunning views of the Sexten and Prags Dolomites. A hike that combines mountaineering history, spectacular landscapes, and alpine nature in the heart of the Dolomites. Every Friday children can let off steam at the Gigante Baranci’s large mountain play area where there’s a wide-ranging entertainment programme with various guests and exciting games. Have fun!

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

Every first Friday of the month from June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Try out the biathlon feeling, with short introduction and shooting with the smallbore rifle. Anyone can join, with or without skis (children from 12 years).

Every Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Bistro Biwak 12 hosts the “Aperitivo Lungo” on its rooftop terrace.

At 8:15 pm. , the ceremonial march of the music village band of Welsberg begins through the village center. The sounds of traditional brass music accompany the band on its way to the main square. At 8:30 pm, the concert follows at the music pavilion, where the musicians present a varied repertoire. From traditional marches and polkas to modern pieces – great musical entertainment is guaranteed!

The evening concerts in Prags/Braies invite you to enjoy atmospheric musical moments in a unique setting. As the sun disappears behind the mountains, carefully selected melodies fill the air, creating an unforgettable experience that blends nature and culture. Yesterday, today, the day after tomorrow. A visionary leap through time. What would good old Sepp say? Standing today at the foot of the Sexten Sundial and letting your gaze wander over the village, this question springs to mind. We are, of course, referring to Sepp Innerkofler: a legend among mountain guides, a pioneer and a figure whose name is inextricably linked to the ‘Pale’ of the Sesto Dolomites. 4 July 2026 marked the 111th anniversary of his death. He fell during the First World War whilst defending his homeland; this is how he became famous. Here, however, we wish to present him as a visionary. What innovative ideas or solutions might Sepp have proposed for today’s challenges? How would he assess the dynamic between the masses of people and the modern need for relaxation in the mountains? And, consequently, the next question: what will Sexten look like in another 111 years? The exhibition is therefore also an invitation to think beyond the present. Let us dare to take a leap through time together with Sepp. Between yesterday, today and a possible tomorrow.
