The famous mountain run from Sesto to the Rifugio Locatelli on Saturday 14 of September will take place for the 27th time. The original route takes the maximum of 1000 participants over 17 kilometres with an elevation profile of 1333 metres on perfectly signed paths from Sesto through the stunning mountains of the Sesto Dolomites to the finish at the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli, just below the three impressive peaks that are known all over the world.

On September 14th, 2024, the traditional "Brunschta Almabtrieb" returns to Olang! The event starts at 11:00 AM at the old football field in Oberolang. From there, the decorated cows and herders will proceed down Bödenstraße towards the village center. The final destination is the Aparthotel Winklwiese. Musical entertainment will be provided by the bands "Sigima Blech" and "Südtiroler Hoderlumpn". Of course, food and drinks will be plentiful. Join us for this special event and celebrate with us!

Transart is a multidisciplinary festival that explores contemporary art forms such as music, dance, performance, film and visual arts. The piece ‘IN MEDEAS RES’ by the Viennese performance company Liquid Loft centres on the figure of Medea, based on the portrayal of Maria Callas in Pasolini's 1969 film. Under the direction of choreographer Chris Haring, the dancers create a grotesque, dualistic figure that operates between reality and the world of myth. The piece thematises the change of order and the loss of the metaphysical through a mixture of physical art, sounds and utopian scenes.
