A hike that is more than nature – it is a journey through centuries of history and art. The route starts in Welsberg and leads past Welsperg Castle, the ruins of Thurn, and the lost castle of Meisenreut. In Taisten, the cultural highlight is a guided visit to St. George’s Church, built around 800 as a fortified sanctuary and first mentioned in 861. Inside, late Gothic frescoes depicting scenes from the life of Christ and the famous St. Christopher fresco. The route continues to the Erasmus Chapel, burial place of the Counts of Welsperg, featuring tombstones and memorial shields. The lovingly designed cemetery in Taisten invites a moment of reflection. Drive with the mountain guide to the Auronzo hut (2,330 m). A 50-minute hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, during which you can already enjoy the stunning UNESCO Dolomite landscape. Once you reach the summit (2,745 m), you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama and a unique view of the north faces of the Drei Zinnen. After a break at the top, the descent takes you through long tunnels from World War I, when part of the front ran right through the Dolomites. The guided hike to Putzalm is a special nature experience for everyone who would like to explore the mountain world in pleasant company. Along the way, you will gain interesting insights into the region’s flora, fauna and local history. Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a tasting of traditional alpine snacks awaits you. The hut host Seppl is well known for his delicious local dishes! Before or after the stop at the hut, you will continue to the panoramic summit of Allwartstein (1,954 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views. From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. If time permits, we will climb up to the summit cross at the Hochalpenkopf and enjoy the spectacular panorama in the middle of the Dolomites, with views of the Prags Dolomites, the Rieserferner and the Zillertal Alps. After a short rest we will descend step by step to the Pragser Wildsee Lake and let the day end comfortably.We will return to Olang by bus and by train and we will look up to the mastered summit with amazement. From the hiking car park above Mudler, the trail leads up to the Lutterkopf, which rises just above the tree line. Despite its modest elevation, the summit offers a magnificent panoramic view. Together with Lanz Active, we experience a scenic hike in the unique mountain landscape of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Following a quieter trail, we ascend from Rimbianco Alm towards the famous massif, immersing ourselves in the special atmosphere of this historically significant area, deeply marked by the First World War. Along the way, we are rewarded with stunning views of the striking rock formations, until we reach Lange Alm, where we can admire the spectacular north face of the Tre Cime. The hike combines nature, movement, and Alpine history in a varied and engaging way, offering around 600 meters of elevation gain and 4–5 hours of walking for a truly immersive mountain experience. The new 2.5-kilometre-long “Rock spirits” family circular trail at Croda Rossa invites adventures and history buffs to discover the secrets of this impressive mountain landscape. Scenic hike with Gilbert We enjoy a pleasant hike with beautiful views and fascinating insights into the history around Niederrasen. We start in Niederrasen and walk towards the Oberstaller farms. From there, trail no. 20 leads us up to the Rest-station Mudler (refreshments available), where breathtaking views of the Dolomites await. We then follow the scenic Dolomites panoramic trail to Obergoste. From there, a charming path leads us to the Altrasen ruins. Finally, we descend back to Niederrasen to our starting point.

Our advanced downhill skills training in the bike park at Kronplatz is designed for experienced riders who want to refine their technique and take their riding to the next level. In this course, we focus on advanced skills such as active line choice, precise cornering, and confidently handling steep and technically demanding sections. Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

With the right know-how and the right equipment, the risk of an accident can be reduced or avoided - the certified guides from SAAC show you on the bike what is important in terms of accident prevention. Both theoretically and practically, the participants are taught the most important safety aspects, a correct riding technique and the right choice of material and equipment. Therefore, on 27/06 and 28/06/2026, and on 03/10 and 04/10/2026, every bike-interested person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge and to refine his technique.  A "special edition" of the SAAC Bike Camp will take place too on Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, namely the "Girlpower Bike Camp", especially for women. Anyone who is at least 14 years old and wants to expand and force his bike awareness can participate!

Prenninger Park in Welsberg becomes an atmospheric open-air party location. The “Back to the Roots” party is all about 80s and 90s music, rock, one-hit wonders and oldies.
