Together with Lanz Active, we experience one of the most impressive hikes in the Dolomites: the classic circuit of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The contrast between the gentle southern side and the dramatic northern faces makes this mountain landscape unique, as does its rich history of mountaineering and the First World War. Starting from Rifugio Auronzo at 2,320 m, the route leads us via Rifugio Lavaredo, Rifugio A. Locatelli (Drei-Zinnen-Hütte), and Lange Alm, completing the loop around the famous massif. Together with our mountain guide Manuel we will start our crossing of the Prags Dolomites from the Brunst Alp. After two hours of hiking we will reach the start of the fixed rope route, where Manuel will give us a short introduction to the equipment. As soon as the climbing harness is properly fastened and the helmet is on, we will start our adventure. After a breathtaking, beautiful climb of difficulty level A (easy) we will reach the exit. If time permits, we will climb up to the summit cross at the Hochalpenkopf and enjoy the spectacular panorama in the middle of the Dolomites, with views of the Prags Dolomites, the Rieserferner and the Zillertal Alps. After a short rest we will descend step by step to the Pragser Wildsee Lake and let the day end comfortably.We will return to Olang by bus and by train and we will look up to the mastered summit with amazement. The new 2.5-kilometre-long “Rock spirits” family circular trail at Croda Rossa invites adventures and history buffs to discover the secrets of this impressive mountain landscape. For a long time, the peaks, the so-called “Knottn” were considered frightening and inaccessible, inhabited only by ghosts and witches. Scenic hike with Gilbert We enjoy a relaxed and nature-oriented hike around the Rasner Möser biotope and the villages of Oberrasen and Niederrasen – perfect for relaxing, enjoying and discovering. We start at the cultural house in Oberrasen and walk to the idyllic Rasner Möser biotope. We continue to the rest and barbecue area in Oberrasen and along the village loop trail to Niederrasen, reaching Alpen Natur Camping. Finally, we follow the cycle path back to the village, where several refreshment stops are available.

Our advanced downhill skills training in the bike park at Kronplatz is designed for experienced riders who want to refine their technique and take their riding to the next level. In this course, we focus on advanced skills such as active line choice, precise cornering, and confidently handling steep and technically demanding sections. A morning at the farm: discover how organic quality is created, get to know farm life first-hand, and gain genuine insights into regional agriculture. Ideal for families and anyone wishing to experience Olang from its most authentic side.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Every first Friday of the month from June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. The meeting point is easy to reach, and the short walk to the event location is suitable for everyone — including families with strollers. Participation in the event is free of charge.

In Sesto, there is a particularly lovely way to get started and rediscover the area: the Sesto Circular Trail – popular for 20 years, now with a fresh new look.
