The herbs and Kneipp hike is an easy excursion that takes you through the surroundings of Gais, Riscone, and Stefansdorf. The walk leads along the forest path at the Haunold/Baranci valley station in direction of Toblach/Dobbiaco to the source of the Drau/Drava river. Interested in visiting one of our characteristic farmsteads? The Moarhof farm in the hamlet of Obergoste invites you to take a tour of its barn, stables, petting zoo and dairy farm. Following the tour, you can savour some farm products such as milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese, smoked sausages called „Kaminwurzen“ and bacon.

Join the adventurous Segway tour at a special price! Every Monday and Wednesday from 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM directly at the Cimaschool in Mitterolang. Registration takes place directly at the Cimaschool. Participation is possible from age 10.

Paternkofel Via Ferrata – Innerkoflersteig The via ferrata up the Paternkofel (2,745 m) is one of the most impressive routes in the Sesto Dolomites. The route follows the former front line of the First World War and combines spectacular views with fascinating history. Highlights of the tour include the impressive war tunnels, the summit with its panoramic views, and the famous Paternsattel, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the Dolomites. From here, a unique view opens up onto the mighty north faces of the Three Peaks – an unforgettable photo opportunity. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, the tour leads from the Auronzo Hut over the Paternsattel to the Paternkofel. The subsequent descent follows the historic Innerkoflersteig trail and through the former war tunnels towards the Dreizinnen Hut. Guided moderate-difficulty themed walk This moderate-difficulty, guided themed walk offers the perfect combination of exercise, experiencing nature and fascinating insights into the mountain world. Together with experienced guides, you’ll discover special places, learn interesting facts about the region and enjoy varied trails away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The exact route and the specific theme of the walk can be found in the Alpine School’s current weekly programme. Approx. 50-minute hike from the Auronzo Hut (2.330 m) to the Paternsattel. The blue hour is a time of calm and transition, announcing the upcoming sunrise with a picturesque play of colors. In the light of the rising sun, the Three Peaks reveal their full brilliance – a natural spectacle among the most beautiful in the Dolomites. The subsequent walk to the Langalm (breakfast option) and back to the starting point completes this unique nature experience. Round trip with the hiking bus. From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. Toblinger Knoten via ferrata – Leiternsteig The Toblinger Knoten (2,617 m) is one of the most scenic via ferrata destinations in the area around the Three Peaks. The striking rock tower rises directly opposite the famous peaks and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites. The ascent follows the historic Kaiserjägersteig via ferrata, which was built during the First World War and today delights visitors with exciting climbing sections and an alpine atmosphere. After a well-deserved rest at the summit with its unique panorama, the descent follows the easier via ferrata along the north-east ridge. Together with Lanz Active, we experience one of the most impressive hikes in the Dolomites: the classic circuit of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The contrast between the gentle southern side and the dramatic northern faces makes this mountain landscape unique, as does its rich history of mountaineering and the First World War. Starting from Rifugio Auronzo at 2,320 m, the route leads us via Rifugio Lavaredo, Rifugio A. Locatelli (Drei-Zinnen-Hütte), and Lange Alm, completing the loop around the famous massif. Camminata Metabolica is a simple and special training programme designed to activate the metabolism, improve posture, reduce the waistline and specifically tone the abdominal and gluteal muscles.

Short circular walk (slightly uphill-150 meters difference in altitude) of approx. 50 min. on asphalt or gravel road to the Kleinmarer farm. We visit the farm with stable, animals and garden. From there, we continue into the impressive Rienz Gorge, riding along narrow paths surrounded by stunning nature before reaching St. Lorenzen. Via Stefansdorf, the steady climb up to Haidenberg begins. The route combines a mix of asphalt, gravel, and short forest sections, offering a varied and scenic ride between valley floor and hillside terrain. The final section requires a bit more effort but rewards us with beautiful views and a cozy stop at the destination. Discover the Via Artis on Kronplatz together with a hiking guide – the highest open-air art gallery in the world at 2,275 meters above sea level. The 6-kilometer circular trail showcases six artworks by local artists, crafted from damaged wood resulting from storm and snow pressure in 2018 and 2019. We start our hike in the picturesque village of Reischach and set off into the beautiful natural surroundings. The hiking trail leads us through gentle hills and dense forests. After around 1.5 to 2 hours, we reach Haidenberg, where traditional bread baking awaits us. Here we have the opportunity to learn more about the ancient craft of bread baking. After a leisurely break and enjoying the home-baked bread, we make our way back to Reischach. Alpinisteig The Alpinisteig is one of the most impressive historic via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites. It was built during the First World War by Italian Alpine troops and leads through a stunning high-mountain landscape with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Although the via ferrata is technically fairly straightforward, it should not be underestimated due to its length and the possibility of snowfields – particularly at the start of the season. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, you’ll enjoy a varied tour that combines history, nature and alpine adventure. We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. Since we will spend most of our time up on the beautiful border ridge and want to enjoy the mountain panorama flexibly, we recommend that all participants bring enough provisions, such as their own packed lunch. This way, we are independent of time and can take our breaks at the most beautiful viewpoints. We will make a short stop at the Sillianer Hütte for a cozy drink break. Bergila Relax Tour Our tour starts in the picturesque village of Reischach and first leads us towards St. Georgen and through the gentle landscapes of the Puster Valley. We ride along quiet paths through meadows and small villages before reaching Pfalzen, where we enjoy the sunny plateau scenery. A special highlight of the tour is a visit to the Bergila Gardens in Issing. Here we dive into the world of medicinal plants and alpine natural products. At the traditional pine oil distillery, we learn about the production of essential oils from local plants. Afterwards, a soothing foot bath with natural essences invites us to relax and enjoy the moment. Refreshed, we continue our ride and return via Stefansdorf back to Reischach. This varied route combines nature experiences, regional craftsmanship, and true moments of enjoyment in the heart of South Tyrol. Following the course of the Ahr River, we meander through charming villages and lush meadows, swiftly arriving at our destination—the renowned Reinbach waterfalls, a captivating natural marvel. A brief hike allows you to marvel at the majestic waterfalls and immerse yourself in the scenic splendor of the surroundings.Before heading back, a must-not-miss stop is at the venerable goat farm cheese dairy known as "Goasroscht," offering a perfect opportunity for a short rest. In Taisten, history, art, and faith blend in a remarkable way. The visit begins with St. George’s Church, the oldest in the parish, built around 800 as a fortified sanctuary and first mentioned in 861. Inside, late Gothic frescoes depicting scenes from the life of Christ and the famous St. Christopher fresco, once believed to protect travellers, leave a lasting impression. Another highlight is the parish church of Taisten with the Erasmus Chapel, burial place of the Counts of Welsperg. Beautifully crafted tombstones and memorial shields reflect the family’s historical significance. The tour ends at the carefully designed cemetery, a place of peace and reflection. Eleven farmers sell every Friday their own products: vegetables, fruits, jams, bread, eggs, meat and cheese in the center of Bruneck.

With Giulietta, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. at Prenninger Park. The activity takes place outdoors. Camminata Metabolica is a simple and special training programme designed to activate the metabolism, improve posture, reduce the waistline and specifically tone the abdominal and gluteal muscles.

We experience a varied and scenic hike through the Antholz valley. We take the bus to Lake Antholz (1.640 m) and start our hike there. On hiking trail no. 1 we reach Wöhrer cabin (1.660 m; not managed) and from there continue on to Teufelsplatz. Along the left valley side we hike leisurely, gradually descending until we reach Antholz Mittertal (1.440 mk). Afterwards we follow the Müllerkoflweg (no. 1) to Burgegger Mill (1.225 m) and continue downstream to Antholz Niedertal (1.100 m). From there we return by bus to our starting point. Together with Lanz Active, we discover the impressive mountain landscape around Toblach. The starting point is Kandellen, from where we hike via the Wildbachhütte up to the Bonnerhütte at 2,340 m. The trail leads through striking natural and cultural landscapes at the foot of Mount Pfannhorn, passing former torrent gullies that are now secured by protective structures. At the top, a well-deserved lunch break awaits us with a magnificent view over the Puster Valley and the Dolomites. A varied tour combining nature, movement, and fascinating insights into the Alpine world. Depending on the tour, the hikes are suitable both for experienced hikers and for families and beginners. Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike of about 5,5 km continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. In the tranquillity of nature we learn many secrets of the forest as well as various forms of relaxation such as walking barefoot, treading water and relaxation exercises. A morning at the farm! What is life like on a real pig farm? We take a look behind the scenes, meet the animals and discover how high-quality organic food is produced. Along the way, we get to know everyday farm life and gain fascinating insights into local agriculture. An authentic experience for families and anyone who would like to discover the genuine side of Olang.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

The festival begins at 11.00 pm. with live music and traditional food. At 2.30 pm starts the traditional cattle drive. The cattle drive is a traditional custom in the Alpine region in which festively decorated cows are brought down from the mountain pastures to the valley in autumn. Its origins lie in the centuries-old tradition of Alpine farming. In spring, farmers drove their livestock up to the mountain pastures, where they could graze on fresh grass while the meadows in the valley were kept free for haymaking. Before winter, the animals had to return to the valley. Over time, this necessary part of the agricultural year developed into a tradition celebrating the safe return of both people and animals and remains closely connected to Alpine culture today.

With the right know-how and the right equipment, the risk of an accident can be reduced or avoided - the certified guides from SAAC show you on the bike what is important in terms of accident prevention. Both theoretically and practically, the participants are taught the most important safety aspects, a correct riding technique and the right choice of material and equipment. Therefore, on 27/06 and 28/06/2026, and on 03/10 and 04/10/2026, every bike-interested person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge and to refine his technique.  A "special edition" of the SAAC Bike Camp will take place too on Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, namely the "Girlpower Bike Camp", especially for women. Anyone who is at least 14 years old and wants to expand and force his bike awareness can participate!
