Many huts await you with a rich offer of local delicacies prepared by Dobbiaco's gastronomes, the pavilion where an exciting entertainment programme takes place and the new Christmas shop where you can find a selection of handicrafts made by local artisans. On Friday, December 5th, from 5:00 pm. onwards, everyone gathers at the mulled wine stand on the main square – the perfect way to get into the mood for the upcoming Krampus run in the village. The fearsome Krampus figures march through the streets with echoing bells, sending shivers down your spine! On Saturday, December 6th, at around 6:00 pm., St. Nicholas himself will greet the children with a small surprise on the main square. Until 7:00 pm., the area remains Krampus-free, but then the village once again turns into a dark stage. At 7:30 pm., the spectacular Krampus Show begins, where various Krampus groups present their eerie skills – an experience no one will soon forget!

Into the silence - a silent snowshoe hike From San Candido we take the minibus or private cars via Santa Maria to Monte Rota. Here, we start our circular hike through snowy forest clearings with breath-taking views of the Dolomites. We learn to recognise animal tracks in the snow, to read scats and to assign vomit to specific animals. Starting point: 01:00 pm Tourist Information San Candido Return: approx. 4:30 pm: Walking time: approx. 2 hrs Difficulty: easy Altitude differential: approx. 100 m Kit: technical, ankle-covering mountain boots with profiled soles (winter boots or low shoes are not suitable for deep snow), hot drink (thermos flask), thermal protection, gloves and spare hat, sun protection Fee: 23 € per person, 5 € snow shoe rental. IMPORTANT: The hikes will take place in all events, even where there is a lack of snow. In the event of a grave risk of avalanche or other adverse conditions, programme changes may occur. There is no minimum number of participants. The minimum age for children is 10 years with a shoe size of at least 35 (there are no snowshoes for smaller sizes). Dogs are not permitted at ANY tour. Campfire Magic & Crafting Fun By the campfire, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we’ll make charcoal pencils and wire figures and create delicious campfire treats together!

St. Nicholas is also coming to Bruneck! He starts at 4.00 pm. from "Oberragen" (Upper Town) and drives along the "Stadtgasse" (city centre) to the Paul Tschurtschenthaler Square.
