Brunch with white sausage and fire department games for kids, plus a bounce house and cotton candy. Exciting highlights: 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.—ride on the modern turntable ladder; 2:00–4:00 p.m.—thrilling boat ride on the fire department boat; and 12:00–2:00 p.m.—tour in the fire truck. The Rasen Young Farmers invite you to the traditional festival at the Lahner Alm hut. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. with a Liturgy of the Word at the “Krochbingl”. Musical entertainment will be provided by the "Kirschtaböhmische" of Oberrasen, and food and drinks will also be available. The Lahner Alm hut is also easily accessible by e-bike. In addition, limited transport is available at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., departing from the Niederegger shop in Oberrasen.

On a total of 12 dates, the summit of Kronplatz will be the setting for a special cultural experience that brings South Tyrolean tradition to life. Experience the impressive performances of music bands, the powerful sounds of "Alphornbläsre" and the rousing dances of "Schuhplattler" up close. Each event offers the unique opportunity to combine the impressive mountain scenery with the sounds and performances of South Tyrolean culture. An experience for young and old!

Together with Lanz Active, we enjoy a varied hike around Toblach that combines nature, culture, and authentic farm life. We take the Citybus to Aufkirchen, a small place of pilgrimage above the village, where our hike begins with a steady ascent towards Mellaten. There we visit the traditional Hansenhof, a mountain farm at around 1,500 m, which has been run for four generations with deep respect and love for nature. During the farm visit, we gain insight into daily rural life, meet the animals, and enjoy a tasting of homemade products. The route then continues to Ratsberg, where we are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view over Toblach, the Höhlenstein Valley, and the surrounding Dolomites. At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. Paternkofel Via Ferrata – Innerkoflersteig The via ferrata up the Paternkofel (2,745 m) is one of the most impressive routes in the Sesto Dolomites. The route follows the former front line of the First World War and combines spectacular views with fascinating history. Highlights of the tour include the impressive war tunnels, the summit with its panoramic views, and the famous Paternsattel, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the Dolomites. From here, a unique view opens up onto the mighty north faces of the Three Peaks – an unforgettable photo opportunity. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, the tour leads from the Auronzo Hut over the Paternsattel to the Paternkofel. The subsequent descent follows the historic Innerkoflersteig trail and through the former war tunnels towards the Dreizinnen Hut. Guided moderate-difficulty themed walk This moderate-difficulty, guided themed walk offers the perfect combination of exercise, experiencing nature and fascinating insights into the mountain world. Together with experienced guides, you’ll discover special places, learn interesting facts about the region and enjoy varied trails away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The exact route and the specific theme of the walk can be found in the Alpine School’s current weekly programme. A real experience: Sunrise at the top of Monte Elmo! Discover how the sun arises from behind the mountains and illuminates the landscape. From the summit of Monte Elmo you can enjoy this experience of nature with 360° panoramic views of the Dolomites and the Central Alps.

Approx. 50-minute hike from the Auronzo Hut (2.330 m) to the Paternsattel. The blue hour is a time of calm and transition, announcing the upcoming sunrise with a picturesque play of colors. In the light of the rising sun, the Three Peaks reveal their full brilliance – a natural spectacle among the most beautiful in the Dolomites. The subsequent walk to the Langalm (breakfast option) and back to the starting point completes this unique nature experience. Round trip with the hiking bus. Drive with the mountain guide to the Auronzo hut (2,330 m). A 50-minute hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, during which you can already enjoy the stunning UNESCO Dolomite landscape. On the via ferrata, the mountain guide is happy to provide tips and tricks – the route is also perfect for beginners. Once you reach the summit (2,745 m), you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama and a unique view of the north faces of the Drei Zinnen. After a break at the top, the descent takes you through long tunnels from World War I, when part of the front ran right through the Dolomites. The via ferrata adventure ends at the Drei Zinnen hut, from where you hike back to the starting point. For the descent, the following options are available: - hike back to the Auronzo hut and return with the mountain guide - independent descent via Fischlein- or Innerfeldtal (approx. 3.5 hours) - independent continuation to the Büllelejochhütte and descent into the Fischleintal (approx. 4.5 hours) In the case of the independent continuation, the return journey is made using public buses. We go by bus to Signaue, then we take the Drei Zinnen cable car to the Stiergarten. Hike along the tracks of old smugglers' trails via the Klammbach hut and Nemesalm hut towards the Kreuzberg Pass/Passo Monte Croce Comelico. The guided hike to Putzalm is a special nature experience for everyone who would like to explore the mountain world in pleasant company. Along the way, you will gain interesting insights into the region’s flora, fauna and local history. Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a tasting of traditional alpine snacks awaits you. The hut host Seppl is well known for his delicious local dishes! Before or after the stop at the hut, you will continue to the panoramic summit of Allwartstein (1,954 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views. The descent then leads you back to the starting point in Altprags. The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. After a short break, the tour continues steadily uphill to Pederü, first on asphalt, then on gravel roads.The alpine climb begins at Pederü, heading up to the Fanes Hut (2,060 m) on a well-maintained former military road. Though demanding, the climb is scenic and rewarding. Have you ever tasted authentic South Tyrolean speck on a crispy “Breatl” with a stunning mountain backdrop? Our Speckbread Hike starts at the Olang 1+2 mid-station at 2000 m and leads you through several culinary stops amidst the breathtaking nature of the Dolomites. A special treat awaits you at the end: freshly sliced speck served on warm oven-baked bread. The hike is self-guided but well-marked and easy to follow. Along the circular trail, you’ll also discover how speck and bread were made in the old days.

By cable car, we ascend to Kronplatz (2275m), where we enjoy a magnificent view of the Alps and the Dolomites. At the summit of Kronplatz, we marvel at the largest bell in the Alps: the Concordia. The tour along the panoramic path reveals the breathtaking beauty of the South Tyrolean mountains. The hike concludes at the summit of Kronplatz, providing the opportunity to visit the Messner Mountain Museum or participate in various activities offered at the summit. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Toblinger Knoten via ferrata – Leiternsteig The Toblinger Knoten (2,617 m) is one of the most scenic via ferrata destinations in the area around the Three Peaks. The striking rock tower rises directly opposite the famous peaks and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites. The ascent follows the historic Kaiserjägersteig via ferrata, which was built during the First World War and today delights visitors with exciting climbing sections and an alpine atmosphere. After a well-deserved rest at the summit with its unique panorama, the descent follows the easier via ferrata along the north-east ridge. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, this varied tour is a special experience for anyone wishing to discover the Dolomites from an extraordinary perspective. Alpinisteig The Alpinisteig is one of the most impressive historic via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites. It was built during the First World War by Italian Alpine troops and leads through a stunning high-mountain landscape with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Although the via ferrata is technically fairly straightforward, it should not be underestimated due to its length and the possibility of snowfields – particularly at the start of the season. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, you’ll enjoy a varied tour that combines history, nature and alpine adventure. After two hours of hiking we will reach the start of the fixed rope route, where Manuel will give us a short introduction to the equipment. We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. Since we will spend most of our time up on the beautiful border ridge and want to enjoy the mountain panorama flexibly, we recommend that all participants bring enough provisions, such as their own packed lunch. Afterwards we follow the Müllerkoflweg (no. 1) to Burgegger Mill (1.225 m) and continue downstream to Antholz Niedertal (1.100 m). From there we return by bus to our starting point. Every Friday children can let off steam at the Gigante Baranci’s large mountain play area where there’s a wide-ranging entertainment programme with various guests and exciting games. Have fun!

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

From June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. The meeting point is easy to reach, and the short walk to the event location is suitable for everyone — including families with strollers. Participation in the event is free of charge.

At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Every week, various South Tyrolean manufacturers take turns to present their products such as cheese, grappa, chocolate, jam and much more. On these days, you have the opportunity to get to know and taste these local products in the Steiner butcher's shop.

Every Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Bistro Biwak 12 hosts the “Aperitivo Lungo” on its rooftop terrace.

The last hours of sunshine have arrived, the sun is sinking lower and lower, the air is still warm and the mighty mountain backdrop of the Sesto Sundial towers into the sky in front of you. Now you can enjoy this breathtaking atmosphere in a special way. At "Sunset Aperitivo", the Proseccheria at Ristorante Monte Elmo invites you to a mountain aperitivo, where you can round off the day perfectly with a tasty drink.

At 8:15 pm. , the ceremonial march of the music village band of Welsberg begins through the village center. The sounds of traditional brass music accompany the band on its way to the main square. At 8:30 pm, the concert follows at the music pavilion, where the musicians present a varied repertoire. From traditional marches and polkas to modern pieces – great musical entertainment is guaranteed!

Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata The Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata, dedicated to Bepi Martini & Much Happacher and to friendship, is a spectacular new via ferrata offering wonderful views of the eastern Dolomites. The route crosses the narrow summit of the Arzalpenturm and leads up to the panoramic summit of the Arzalpenkopf. The descent via the secured Salasteig route or via the Arzalpenscharte round off this eventful day in the mountains. Saturday: Cortina Via Ferrata An exciting via ferrata adventure above the Olympic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The route leads to the historic Monte Castello, first passing through impressive World War I tunnels before continuing on a well-secured via ferrata to the summit. At the top, historic military positions and a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites await – a unique blend of nature, history, and alpine adventure. The Südtirol Skiroll Festival is all about roller skiing for two exciting days. On 5 September 2026, the sprint competition takes place at the Südtirol Arena in Antholz, followed by the individual race on 6 September 2026 at the Nordic Arena in Toblach. Two venues, exciting competitions and plenty of roller-ski action.

The traditional Kirchtag festival in Mitterolang begins on the evening of Saturday, 5 September 2026, with a festive opening. Celebrations continue throughout the entire day on Sunday, 6 September, with music, food and drinks creating a lively atmosphere. The highlight is the traditional parade on Sunday afternoon, showcasing local traditions and culture.

Gustav Mahler Music Weeks Toblach 2026 The 45th Gustav Mahler Music Weeks will take place in Toblach from 11 July to 5 September 2026 under the theme “The Beginning.” Alongside long-standing Artistic Director Josef Lanz, Dirk Kaftan will shape the festival programme for the first time. Highlights include concerts by the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, as well as performances by promising young international artists. The programme is complemented by lectures, a symposium, the traditional hike to Gustav Mahler’s composing hut, and special encounters with guests such as Massimo Cacciari and Reinhold Messner.
