Attention: In case of insufficient snow, a winter hike will be carried out. By minibus (the first 8 registered persons can travel in the minibus of the Alpine School, all other persons take the public bus) from San Candido to Passo Monte Croce. At first hike through the light forests crossing the piste to Lago dell’Orso. Then, crossing the magnificent mountain woods to the panoramic summit of Colesei at 1972 m. Sensational views of the deep rock towers of the eastern Sesto Dolomites. Return to the starting point along the ascent route with some variants. Note: Don't forget your Südtirol Guest Pass when travelling by public bus! Starting point: 08.40 am Tourist Information San Candido (bus from Monte Baranci at 9.03 am) Return: approx. 2:30 pm Walking time: approx. 4 hrs Difficulty: intermediate Altitude differential: approx. 350 m Kit: technical, ankle-covering mountain boots with profiled soles (winter boots or low shoes are not suitable for deep snow), hot drink (thermos flask), thermal protection, gloves and spare hat, sun protection fee 28 € per person, 5 € snow shoe rental IMPORTANT: The hikes will take place in all events, even where there is a lack of snow. In the event of a grave risk of avalanche or other adverse conditions, programme changes may occur. There is no minimum number of participants. The minimum age for children is 10 years with a shoe size of at least 35 (there are no snowshoes for smaller sizes). Dogs are not permitted at ANY tour. The first 8 registered persons can travel in the minibus of the Alpine School; all other persons follow the minibus by public bus.

At the Fan Village in Paul Tschurtschenthaler Square, the competitions will be shown daily from 10.00 am. to 10.00 pm. on large LED screens.
