Toblinger Knoten via ferrata – Leiternsteig The Toblinger Knoten (2,617 m) is one of the most scenic via ferrata destinations in the area around the Three Peaks. The striking rock tower rises directly opposite the famous peaks and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites. The ascent follows the historic Kaiserjägersteig via ferrata, which was built during the First World War and today delights visitors with exciting climbing sections and an alpine atmosphere. After a well-deserved rest at the summit with its unique panorama, the descent follows the easier via ferrata along the north-east ridge. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, this varied tour is a special experience for anyone wishing to discover the Dolomites from an extraordinary perspective. Together with Lanz Active, we follow in the footsteps of mountaineering pioneer Paul Grohmann, who in 1869, accompanied by his guides Peter Salcher and Franz Innerkofler, made the first ascent of the Great Peak (Große Zinne). The starting point is Landro, from where we begin our hike with views of the impressive north faces of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, following the Rienztal valley on a wide and initially gentle trail. The route then climbs more steeply through the Rimbianco valley to the alpine pasture of the same name and continues to Lake Antorno, where we can also admire the southern side of the Tre Cime for the first time. After a short descent, we reach Misurina, from where we return comfortably to Toblach by public bus. A hike that combines mountaineering history, spectacular landscapes, and alpine nature in the heart of the Dolomites. Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes. Alpinisteig The Alpinisteig is one of the most impressive historic via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites. It was built during the First World War by Italian Alpine troops and leads through a stunning high-mountain landscape with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Although the via ferrata is technically fairly straightforward, it should not be underestimated due to its length and the possibility of snowfields – particularly at the start of the season. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, you’ll enjoy a varied tour that combines history, nature and alpine adventure. A walking tour next to the Three Peaks is always an unforgettable experience. The contrast between the soft south-side and the bleak north with the steep walls is as characteristic for these mountains as the long and spectacular alpine history around the First World War. The classical walking tour starts from the Auronzo-hut and goes to the Lavaredo-hut, the Three-Peak’s hut and “Lange Alm”. The tour is easy because we start already on an altitude of 2320m. Difference in altitude: ca. 400 m Hiking time: ca. 3-4 hours Equipment: Hiking shoes, rucksack with something to drink and eat, raincoat and warm clothes. Cost: 50€ per person.

We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. Since we will spend most of our time up on the beautiful border ridge and want to enjoy the mountain panorama flexibly, we recommend that all participants bring enough provisions, such as their own packed lunch. This way, we are independent of time and can take our breaks at the most beautiful viewpoints. We will make a short stop at the Sillianer Hütte for a cozy drink break. Bergila Relax Tour Our tour starts in the picturesque village of Reischach and first leads us towards St. Georgen and through the gentle landscapes of the Puster Valley. We ride along quiet paths through meadows and small villages before reaching Pfalzen, where we enjoy the sunny plateau scenery. A special highlight of the tour is a visit to the Bergila Gardens in Issing. Here we dive into the world of medicinal plants and alpine natural products. At the traditional pine oil distillery, we learn about the production of essential oils from local plants. Afterwards, a soothing foot bath with natural essences invites us to relax and enjoy the moment. Refreshed, we continue our ride and return via Stefansdorf back to Reischach. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. From Old Toblach, the hike leads past the parish church to the scenic ZweiWasserBrunnen, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the village and surrounding mountains. Here, you can taste the two characteristic waters of Toblach: the iron-rich water from the foot of Mount Pfannhorn and the calcium-rich water from the Höhlenstein Valley. Following a quiet, little-used hiking trail, we continue through larch and spruce forests up to the Lachwiesenhütte, where a relaxing break offers stunning views of the Sexten and Prags Dolomites. A hike that combines mountaineering history, spectacular landscapes, and alpine nature in the heart of the Dolomites. The rangers will take a spotting scope with you: a look at the natural features of our nature park and perhaps even spot some animals! With them, you can explore various aspects of nature. They can be found at the entrances to the nature park every Thursday in July and August.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

From June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata The Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata, dedicated to Bepi Martini & Much Happacher and to friendship, is a spectacular new via ferrata offering wonderful views of the eastern Dolomites. The route crosses the narrow summit of the Arzalpenturm and leads up to the panoramic summit of the Arzalpenkopf. The descent via the secured Salasteig route or via the Arzalpenscharte round off this eventful day in the mountains. At the top, historic military positions and a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites await – a unique blend of nature, history, and alpine adventure. From 1:00 pm, the musical entertainment continues with the St. Lorenzen Brass Band. At around 3:30 pm, the Pfundra will take the stage, bringing lively music and great entertainment to the afternoon. Throughout the day, along St. John Street, visitors can browse stalls featuring local handicrafts, enjoy a fun-filled children's entertainment programme, and experience talented street performers who will add even more colour and excitement to the celebration. From approximately 8:00 pm, the festival reaches its grand finale with a festive performance by Edelblech.
