A real experience: Sunrise at the top of Monte Elmo! Discover how the sun arises from behind the mountains and illuminates the landscape. From the summit of Monte Elmo you can enjoy this experience of nature with 360° panoramic views of the Dolomites and the Central Alps.

Guided excursion to Monte Paterno "The Dolomites are the most beautiful natural architecture in the world", as architect Le Corbusier puts it. The tour "Dolomiti senza confini" leads exactly through this natural architecture. Over old mountain galleries, ladder paths from World War 1 and suspension bridges you will reach the well-deserved summit cross. History can be so much more than boring literature from books.

Basic rock climbing course for children and adults We will have fun learning how to take our first steps on rock. We will practise knots, rope manoeuvres, belaying techniques on rock and via ferrata, advice on nutrition and the right behaviour in dangerous situations.

Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. For four days from September 18 to 21, the motto in Olang is: Go out together and collect trash at the CleanUP Days! The campaign is organized by the non-profit association Patron. In addition to Olang, eight South Tyrolean destinations are participating in the first edition. Registration and coordination of the routes will take place via the CleanUP Map (interactive map) at www.plasticfreepeaks.com. Here, participants can directly specify the date and route of their self-selected tour. The required CleanUP Kit for all those interested, consisting of a recyclable and reusable fabric bag and a pair of stainless steel pliers, can be picked up free of charge at the Tourist Office Olang before setting off.

Together with our mountain guide Manuel we will start our crossing of the Prags Dolomites from the Brunst Alp. After two hours of hiking we will reach the start of the fixed rope route, where Manuel will give us a short introduction to the equipment. As soon as the climbing harness is properly fastened and the helmet is on, we will start our adventure. After a breathtaking, beautiful climb of difficulty level A (easy) we will reach the exit. If time permits, we will climb up to the summit cross at the Hochalpenkopf and enjoy the spectacular panorama in the middle of the Dolomites, with views of the Prags Dolomites, the Rieserferner and the Zillertal Alps. After a short rest we will descend step by step to the Pragser Wildsee Lake and let the day end comfortably.We will return to Olang by bus and by train and we will look up to the mastered summit with amazement. For four days from September 18 to 21, the motto in Olang is: Go out together and collect trash at the CleanUP Days! The campaign is organized by the non-profit association Patron. In addition to Olang, eight South Tyrolean destinations are participating in the first edition. Registration and coordination of the routes will take place via the CleanUP Map (interactive map) at www.plasticfreepeaks.com. Here, participants can directly specify the date and route of their self-selected tour. The required CleanUP Kit for all those interested, consisting of a recyclable and reusable fabric bag and a pair of stainless steel pliers, can be picked up free of charge at the Tourist Office Olang before setting off.
