Toblinger Knoten via ferrata – Leiternsteig The Toblinger Knoten (2,617 m) is one of the most scenic via ferrata destinations in the area around the Three Peaks. The striking rock tower rises directly opposite the famous peaks and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites. The ascent follows the historic Kaiserjägersteig via ferrata, which was built during the First World War and today delights visitors with exciting climbing sections and an alpine atmosphere. After a well-deserved rest at the summit with its unique panorama, the descent follows the easier via ferrata along the north-east ridge. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, this varied tour is a special experience for anyone wishing to discover the Dolomites from an extraordinary perspective. Guests staying at the Dreizinnenhütte can also set off on the tour directly from there. Saturday: Cortina Via Ferrata An exciting via ferrata adventure above the Olympic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The route leads to the historic Monte Castello, first passing through impressive World War I tunnels before continuing on a well-secured via ferrata to the summit. At the top, historic military positions and a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites await – a unique blend of nature, history, and alpine adventure. Gustav Mahler Music Weeks Toblach 2026 The 45th Gustav Mahler Music Weeks will take place in Toblach from 11 July to 5 September 2026 under the theme “The Beginning.” Alongside long-standing Artistic Director Josef Lanz, Dirk Kaftan will shape the festival programme for the first time. Highlights include concerts by the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, as well as performances by promising young international artists. The programme is complemented by lectures, a symposium, the traditional hike to Gustav Mahler’s composing hut, and special encounters with guests such as Massimo Cacciari and Reinhold Messner. The concerts take place in the Gustav Mahler Hall of the Grand Hotel Cultural Centre Toblach, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomites. Gustav Mahler's Ninth Symphony, composed in Dobbiaco (Toblach), unfolds as a soundscape of delicate intimacy, sharp irony, and eruptive energy. Dance-like episodes, grotesque distortions, and ethereal soundscapes alternate, showcasing the full variety of Mahler's musical language. Conductor Ustina Dubitsky received the Orchestra Prize from the La Maestra Academy in 2022. Following her time as assistant conductor with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, she made her debut at the Bavarian State Opera in 2024. She has conducted the Dresden Philharmonic, the Orchestre de Paris, and the Munich Symphony Orchestra, among others. The Bavarian State Youth Orchestra is one of Germany's leading youth ensembles. The music band of Stegona invides you to a special concert evening with a varied repertoire.

The Trio Halma, founded in 2020 in the Upper Puster Valley, consists of Hannes Tschurtschenthaler, Magdalena Hintner and Alessandra Garavello. It combines classical and modern elements into a sophisticated classic crossover and creates musical-biographical concert programmes with reinterpretations of works by Udo Jürgens, Ennio Morricone and Josh Groban, among others.
