Marc Perin is a young and passionate guitarist with a modern, distinctive fingerstyle sound. He regularly releases albums, performs across Europe, teaches guitar, and is an active figure in the Alpine music scene. The Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra returns to Dobbiaco (Toblach) with conductor Philippe Jordan to perform Bruckner's Fourth Symphony ('Romantic') alongside Bartók's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta. This colourful work, filled with a distinct tension, highlights Bartók's multifaceted character: the visionary architect, the detail-oriented polyphonist, and the passionate explorer of folk music. A latent sense of foreboding is also inherent in both Bartók's and Bruckner's music. Although written in 1874, Bruckner revised his Fourth Symphony several times until 1889. It embodies the spirit of German Romanticism, blending a deep connection to nature with a yearning for the Middle Ages. Guided easy beginner’s hike This easy, guided hike is ideal for anyone who wants to get to know the mountains at a leisurely pace. Particularly during your first few days in the mountains, it offers the perfect opportunity to acclimatise to the altitude gradually, explore the surroundings and gain your first hiking experiences. The exact route and destination of the hike can be found in the Alpine School’s current weekly programme. Traditional St. Bartholomew’s Market at the Niederrasen Leisure Park Enjoy around 30 market stalls offering handcrafted items and flea market treasures. There will also be culinary delights, live music, and plenty of fun for children – the popular antiques market is, of course, back again!

Together with Lanz Active, we discover the impressive mountain landscape around Kreuzbergpass, right on the border between South Tyrol and Belluno. From here, our hike leads up to the wide Rotwandwiesen, where we enjoy our lunch break surrounded by a stunning alpine panorama. Along the way and at the destination, we are rewarded with magnificent views of the Carnic Ridge and the Sexten Dolomites – a landscape that impresses with its vastness and variety. In the afternoon, we can either descend comfortably to Bad Moos or return to the valley using the lift facilities. Paternkofel Via Ferrata – Innerkoflersteig The via ferrata up the Paternkofel (2,745 m) is one of the most impressive routes in the Sesto Dolomites. The route follows the former front line of the First World War and combines spectacular views with fascinating history. Highlights of the tour include the impressive war tunnels, the summit with its panoramic views, and the famous Paternsattel, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the Dolomites. From here, a unique view opens up onto the mighty north faces of the Three Peaks – an unforgettable photo opportunity. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, the tour leads from the Auronzo Hut over the Paternsattel to the Paternkofel. The subsequent descent follows the historic Innerkoflersteig trail and through the former war tunnels towards the Dreizinnen Hut. Together with experienced guides, you’ll discover special places, learn interesting facts about the region and enjoy varied trails away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The exact route and the specific theme of the walk can be found in the Alpine School’s current weekly programme. A real experience: Sunrise at the top of Monte Elmo! Discover how the sun arises from behind the mountains and illuminates the landscape. From the summit of Monte Elmo you can enjoy this experience of nature with 360° panoramic views of the Dolomites and the Central Alps.

Approx. 50-minute hike from the Auronzo Hut (2.330 m) to the Paternsattel. The blue hour is a time of calm and transition, announcing the upcoming sunrise with a picturesque play of colors. In the light of the rising sun, the Three Peaks reveal their full brilliance – a natural spectacle among the most beautiful in the Dolomites. The subsequent walk to the Langalm (breakfast option) and back to the starting point completes this unique nature experience. Round trip with the hiking bus. Drive with the mountain guide to the Auronzo hut (2,330 m). A 50-minute hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, during which you can already enjoy the stunning UNESCO Dolomite landscape. On the via ferrata, the mountain guide is happy to provide tips and tricks – the route is also perfect for beginners. Once you reach the summit (2,745 m), you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama and a unique view of the north faces of the Drei Zinnen. After a break at the top, the descent takes you through long tunnels from World War I, when part of the front ran right through the Dolomites. The via ferrata adventure ends at the Drei Zinnen hut, from where you hike back to the starting point. For the descent, the following options are available: - hike back to the Auronzo hut and return with the mountain guide - independent descent via Fischlein- or Innerfeldtal (approx. 3.5 hours) - independent continuation to the Büllelejochhütte and descent into the Fischleintal (approx. 4.5 hours) In the case of the independent continuation, the return journey is made using public buses. The via ferrata leading to the summit of Gran Cir offers spectacular views of the northern faces of the Sella massif, the Sassolungo, and the high plateau of the Puez Group. This route is perfect for those wanting to take their first steps into the world of via ferrata: it’s ideal for beginners to try out easy climbing in a safe environment, enjoy stunning panoramas, and improve movement and sure-footedness – all while surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Dolomites. The tour begins on a gravel road that leads to the upper station of the Dantercepies cable car. From there, a narrower trail takes you to the rock formations where the via ferrata begins. A secured and partially covered ramp leads across to its end. From there, the path continues uphill in zigzag fashion over easy hiking terrain until reaching a gully at the base of a smooth rock wall. This is where the most challenging section of the route is located (difficulty A/B). After mastering this passage, the route follows the western ridge with light climbing sections along the via ferrata to the summit of Gran Cir – where a breathtaking 360-degree panorama over the Dolomites awaits. Every Tuesday from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm, the weekly market takes place on the Hauptplatz in Welsberg. Various stalls invite visitors to browse and shop – with clothing, shoes, local products and much more.

We go by taxi to the Schnegger Säge hut (1.487 m): There we start the hike via trail nr. 1 to the Silvesteralm hut and finally to the Steinbergalm hut (1.987 m, Three Peaks view). After the rest we go back on the same path to the starting point. Here we take the taxi again to return to Innichen/San Candido. The guided hike to Putzalm is a special nature experience for everyone who would like to explore the mountain world in pleasant company. Along the way, you will gain interesting insights into the region’s flora, fauna and local history. Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a tasting of traditional alpine snacks awaits you. The hut host Seppl is well known for his delicious local dishes! Before or after the stop at the hut, you will continue to the panoramic summit of Allwartstein (1,954 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views. The descent then leads you back to the starting point in Altprags. The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

The yoga experience at the fish pond in Antholz Niedertal is an oasis of calm that allows you to find your balance and peace in the breathtaking mountain scenery. This special yoga session at the lake, surrounded by natural beauty and tranquillity, promotes harmony of body and mind and offers a break from everyday life.

Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. After a short break, the tour continues steadily uphill to Pederü, first on asphalt, then on gravel roads.The alpine climb begins at Pederü, heading up to the Fanes Hut (2,060 m) on a well-maintained former military road. Though demanding, the climb is scenic and rewarding. Have you ever tasted authentic South Tyrolean speck on a crispy “Breatl” with a stunning mountain backdrop? Our Speckbread Hike starts at the Olang 1+2 mid-station at 2000 m and leads you through several culinary stops amidst the breathtaking nature of the Dolomites. By cable car, we ascend to Kronplatz (2275m), where we enjoy a magnificent view of the Alps and the Dolomites. At the summit of Kronplatz, we marvel at the largest bell in the Alps: the Concordia. The tour along the panoramic path reveals the breathtaking beauty of the South Tyrolean mountains. The hike concludes at the summit of Kronplatz, providing the opportunity to visit the Messner Mountain Museum or participate in various activities offered at the summit. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

The tour starts in Reischach, from where we head straight out to explore the hidden trails of the area. Away from the well-known routes, we discover flowy forest paths, narrow singletracks, and little insider spots around Kronplatz. How is a bee colony organised? How is honey made? Why are these industrious, seemingly never-tiring insects so important to us? Our beekeeper will accompany you to the apiary (20-minute walk). Equipped with protective beekeeping clothing, you will have the opportunity to observe a bee colony and learn more about the creation and production of honey. An exciting insight for young and old!

Toblinger Knoten via ferrata – Leiternsteig The Toblinger Knoten (2,617 m) is one of the most scenic via ferrata destinations in the area around the Three Peaks. The striking rock tower rises directly opposite the famous peaks and offers an impressive panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites. The ascent follows the historic Kaiserjägersteig via ferrata, which was built during the First World War and today delights visitors with exciting climbing sections and an alpine atmosphere. After a well-deserved rest at the summit with its unique panorama, the descent follows the easier via ferrata along the north-east ridge. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, this varied tour is a special experience for anyone wishing to discover the Dolomites from an extraordinary perspective. Interested in visiting one of our characteristic farmsteads? The Moarhof farm in the hamlet of Obergoste invites you to take a tour of its barn, stables, petting zoo and dairy farm. Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes. Alpinisteig The Alpinisteig is one of the most impressive historic via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites. It was built during the First World War by Italian Alpine troops and leads through a stunning high-mountain landscape with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Although the via ferrata is technically fairly straightforward, it should not be underestimated due to its length and the possibility of snowfields – particularly at the start of the season. We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. Since we will spend most of our time up on the beautiful border ridge and want to enjoy the mountain panorama flexibly, we recommend that all participants bring enough provisions, such as their own packed lunch. Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... The famous Potato Run: three-quarters of half marathon: from Bruneck/Brunico to Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. Registration only online. Route (17,6 km): Start at town square Bruneck (835 m), the run continues to Kapuzinerplatz square and Kolping House, from there via Dietenheimer road to Aufhofen, along the cycleway to Gais, to Uttenheim, Kematen and to Bad Winkel, crossing the Ahr river near Cascade pool and along the road Daimerstrasse to the finish at the fairground in Sand in Taufers (870 m).
