The Alta Pusteria International Choral Festival is a non-competitive choral event that takes place in one of the most beautiful areas of the entire Alpine range, located at the foot of the Dolomites on the border between Italy and Austria. Born in 1998, in twenty-eight editions the Festival has recorded the presence of over 1,400 choirs from 52 countries. The program includes about sixty performances divided into real concerts, Open Air Reviews and Meeting Days, in which each participating choir can freely perform its repertoire. The variety of the locations together with the extremely rich repertoire presented by the participating choirs make this event not only one of the most spectacular international choral festivals but also a unique opportunity of mutual and fruitful exchange between different musical cultures. On June 14, 2026 the cable car Kronplatz 2000 is open for a very special night - the "Sacred Heart Night" at the summit of Kronplatz. Be there and experience a beautiful view of the adjacent mountain world during a picturesque sunset over the main ridge of the Alps and the Dolomites. Once the sun has set, a spectacular spectacle awaits you: fires of the Sacred Heart are lit on the surrounding peaks, illuminating the sky over the whole South Tyrol and giving it a magical atmosphere. Lighting fires around the summer solstice has its origins in ancient times. The custom of solstice and St. John's fires has been documented since the 12th century. In the 18th century, however, the custom was reinterpreted: in 1796, the Tyrolean estates vowed to entrust the land to the "Sacred Heart of Jesus" to counter the imminent danger posed by Napoleon's invasion. Since then, this promise has been commemorated every year by lighting fires. But this is not all: those interested in culture have the opportunity to visit the two museums at Kronplatz. Both the MMM Corones and the LUMEN Museum open their doors on this evening.

Together with Lanz Active, we explore the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo Natural Park, one of the most impressive landscapes in the Dolomites, home to the Tofane peaks as well as the mountain groups of Fanes, Col Becchei, Croda Rossa and Cristallo. Our hike begins at Passo Cimabanche and leads through the beautiful Gotres Valley up to Forcella Lerosa, where we are rewarded with stunning views of the southern side of Croda Rossa. On the picturesque alpine meadows around the Lerosa saddle, marmots can often be seen or heard, and with a bit of luck we may even spot traces of chamois or deer. These animals are very shy and therefore rarely seen during the daytime – but you never know, maybe luck will be on our side! From the saddle, we continue downhill to Ra Stua mountain hut, where we can stop for lunch. Afterwards, we follow the beautiful Boite waterfall trail down to the bus stop at Sant’Hubertus, from where we return to Dobbiaco by public bus. The herbs and Kneipp hike is an easy excursion that takes you through the surroundings of Gais, Riscone, and Stefansdorf. A hike that is more than nature – it is a journey through centuries of history and art. The route starts in Welsberg and leads past Welsperg Castle, the ruins of Thurn, and the lost castle of Meisenreut. In Taisten, the cultural highlight is a guided visit to St. George’s Church, built around 800 as a fortified sanctuary and first mentioned in 861. Inside, late Gothic frescoes depicting scenes from the life of Christ and the famous St. Christopher fresco. The route continues to the Erasmus Chapel, burial place of the Counts of Welsperg, featuring tombstones and memorial shields. The lovingly designed cemetery in Taisten invites a moment of reflection. The hike concludes in Welsberg, the village of 20 fountains and home of the Baroque artist Paul Troger. Backpack provisions. The guided tour in Taisten can also be booked without the hike. Interested in visiting one of our characteristic farmsteads? The Moarhof farm in the hamlet of Obergoste invites you to take a tour of its barn, stables, petting zoo and dairy farm. Following the tour, you can savour some farm products such as milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese, smoked sausages called „Kaminwurzen“ and bacon.

In the Bike Kids Area in Oberolang, children aged 6 to 10 can try out mountain biking during a professionally supervised introductory session. Mountain bike and full equipment are included. Important: children must already be able to ride a bike on their own.

Join the adventurous Segway tour at a special price! Every Monday and Wednesday from 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM directly at the Cimaschool in Mitterolang. Registration takes place directly at the Cimaschool. Participation is possible from age 10.

Drive with the mountain guide to the Auronzo hut (2,330 m). A 50-minute hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, during which you can already enjoy the stunning UNESCO Dolomite landscape. On the via ferrata, the mountain guide is happy to provide tips and tricks – the route is also perfect for beginners. Once you reach the summit (2,745 m), you are rewarded with a fantastic panorama and a unique view of the north faces of the Drei Zinnen. After a break at the top, the descent takes you through long tunnels from World War I, when part of the front ran right through the Dolomites. The via ferrata adventure ends at the Drei Zinnen hut, from where you hike back to the starting point. For the descent, the following options are available: - hike back to the Auronzo hut and return with the mountain guide - independent descent via Fischlein- or Innerfeldtal (approx. 3.5 hours) - independent continuation to the Büllelejochhütte and descent into the Fischleintal (approx. 4.5 hours) In the case of the independent continuation, the return journey is made using public buses. We go by taxi to the Schnegger Säge hut (1.487 m): There we start the hike via trail nr. 1 to the Silvesteralm hut and finally to the Steinbergalm hut (1.987 m, Three Peaks view). After the rest we go back on the same path to the starting point. Here we take the taxi again to return to Innichen/San Candido. The guided hike to Putzalm is a special nature experience for everyone who would like to explore the mountain world in pleasant company. Along the way, you will gain interesting insights into the region’s flora, fauna and local history. Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a tasting of traditional alpine snacks awaits you. The hut host Seppl is well known for his delicious local dishes! Before or after the stop at the hut, you will continue to the panoramic summit of Allwartstein (1,954 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views. The descent then leads you back to the starting point in Altprags. The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. After a short break, the tour continues steadily uphill to Pederü, first on asphalt, then on gravel roads.The alpine climb begins at Pederü, heading up to the Fanes Hut (2,060 m) on a well-maintained former military road. Though demanding, the climb is scenic and rewarding. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. Together with our mountain guide Manuel we will start our crossing of the Prags Dolomites from the Brunst Alp. If time permits, we will climb up to the summit cross at the Hochalpenkopf and enjoy the spectacular panorama in the middle of the Dolomites, with views of the Prags Dolomites, the Rieserferner and the Zillertal Alps. After a short rest we will descend step by step to the Pragser Wildsee Lake and let the day end comfortably.We will return to Olang by bus and by train and we will look up to the mastered summit with amazement. Scenic hike with Gilbert We enjoy a pleasant hike with beautiful views and fascinating insights into the history around Niederrasen. We start in Niederrasen and walk towards the Oberstaller farms. From there, trail no. 20 leads us up to the Rest-station Mudler (refreshments available), where breathtaking views of the Dolomites await. We then follow the scenic Dolomites panoramic trail to Obergoste. From there, a charming path leads us to the Altrasen ruins. Finally, we descend back to Niederrasen to our starting point.

Our advanced downhill skills training in the bike park at Kronplatz is designed for experienced riders who want to refine their technique and take their riding to the next level. In this course, we focus on advanced skills such as active line choice, precise cornering, and confidently handling steep and technically demanding sections. Guided by experienced coaches, we work on a dynamic body position, improve bike control on varied terrain, and learn to stay stable and in control even at higher speeds. Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike of about 5,5 km continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. In the tranquillity of nature we learn many secrets of the forest as well as various forms of relaxation such as walking barefoot, treading water and relaxation exercises. Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Giulia Neri is an Italian illustrator living in the Dolomites. After an artistic education and studies in psychology, she now dedicates herself to illustration, collaborating internationally. Her works are exhibited at the Galleria Farnesina within the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, and since 2024 also at the headquarters of international organisations in Vienna, including the UN and OSCE. In 2022 she co-founded the Ripido Festival, in 2023 she published the book All’ombra del vento, and in 2026 her second book Essere tutto, non essere niente was released. Opening with book presentation in the presence of the artist on 19/06/2026 at 6:00 pm.
