Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata The Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata, dedicated to Bepi Martini & Much Happacher and to friendship, is a spectacular new via ferrata offering wonderful views of the eastern Dolomites. The route crosses the narrow summit of the Arzalpenturm and leads up to the panoramic summit of the Arzalpenkopf. The descent via the secured Salasteig route or via the Arzalpenscharte round off this eventful day in the mountains. Saturday: Cortina Via Ferrata An exciting via ferrata adventure above the Olympic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The route leads to the historic Monte Castello, first passing through impressive World War I tunnels before continuing on a well-secured via ferrata to the summit. At the top, historic military positions and a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites await – a unique blend of nature, history, and alpine adventure. From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm In Viale San Giovanni, Medea Hinteregger will provide live music and a cheerful atmosphere throughout the morning. From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Along Viale San Giovanni, you’ll find stalls featuring local craftspeople and producers, offering a wide range of handmade creations and local specialities: handmade fabric items, crochet and wooden creations, bakery and pastry products, honey products, jams and syrups, herbal products, as well as natural and handcrafted goods. There will also be a creative workshop for children, where the little ones can have fun and let their imagination run wild. From 2:00 pm It’s time for Lenny, who will liven up the afternoon with his accordion and plenty of music! Between approximately 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm The celebrations continue through the town centre with another roaming performance by street artists, ready to entertain and surprise visitors of all ages! After an extensive rest with food and drink we return to Reischach to the starting point. The Dobbiaco Brass Band and the Dobbiaco Volunteer Fire Brigade warmly invite residents and visitors to the traditional Summer Festival! Saturday, 15 August 2026 From 10:30 am, the festivities begin with the traditional Frühschoppen, accompanied by the Dobbiaco Brass Band. From 1:00 pm, the musical entertainment continues with the St. Lorenzen Brass Band. At around 3:30 pm, the Pfundra will take the stage, bringing lively music and great entertainment to the afternoon. Throughout the day, along St. John Street, visitors can browse stalls featuring local handicrafts, enjoy a fun-filled children's entertainment programme, and experience talented street performers who will add even more colour and excitement to the celebration. From approximately 8:00 pm, the festival reaches its grand finale with a festive performance by Edelblech. Join us for a wonderful day filled with live music, delicious local food and drinks, and plenty of festive cheer!
