We take the bus to Sexten/Sesto and from there the cable car up to the Helm (2.050 m). The Olperl’s Nature Park starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable car and leads to Olperl's best friends - into the realm of the alpine animal world. On the 1,5 km long circular trail you can discover 10 exciting adventure points - with great views of the summit world of the Sesto Dolomites. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. Soft moss, fragrant larch wood, stone slabs or pebbles revitalise the foot reflex zones before the feet are bathed in cooling spring water. Together with Lanz Active, we discover some hidden gems around Toblach. From Old Toblach, the hike leads past the parish church to the scenic ZweiWasserBrunnen, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the village and surrounding mountains. Here, you can taste the two characteristic waters of Toblach: the iron-rich water from the foot of Mount Pfannhorn and the calcium-rich water from the Höhlenstein Valley. Following a quiet, little-used hiking trail, we continue through larch and spruce forests up to the Lachwiesenhütte, where a relaxing break offers stunning views of the Sexten and Prags Dolomites. A hike that combines mountaineering history, spectacular landscapes, and alpine nature in the heart of the Dolomites. We enjoy a pleasant hike with beautiful views and fascinating insights into the history around Niederrasen. We start in Niederrasen (1.030 m) and walk towards the Oberstaller farms (1.214 m). From there, trail no. 20 leads us up to the Rest-station Mudler (1.590 m; refreshments available), where breathtaking views of the Dolomites await. We then follow the scenic Dolomites panoramic trail to Obergoste (1.330 m). From there, a charming path leads us to the Altrasen ruins (1.177 m). Every Friday children can let off steam at the Gigante Baranci’s large mountain play area where there’s a wide-ranging entertainment programme with various guests and exciting games. Have fun!

The rangers will take a spotting scope with you: a look at the natural features of our nature park and perhaps even spot some animals! With them, you can explore various aspects of nature. They can be found at the entrances to the nature park every Thursday in July and August.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

From June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. The meeting point is easy to reach, and the short walk to the event location is suitable for everyone — including families with strollers. Participation in the event is free of charge.

Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess...
