We take the bus to Sexten/Sesto and from there the cable car up to the Helm (2.050 m). The Olperl’s Nature Park starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable car and leads to Olperl's best friends - into the realm of the alpine animal world. On the 1,5 km long circular trail you can discover 10 exciting adventure points - with great views of the summit world of the Sesto Dolomites. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. Soft moss, fragrant larch wood, stone slabs or pebbles revitalise the foot reflex zones before the feet are bathed in cooling spring water. Together with Lanz Active, we discover the impressive mountain landscape around Toblach. The starting point is Kandellen, from where we hike via the Wildbachhütte up to the Bonnerhütte at 2,340 m. The trail leads through striking natural and cultural landscapes at the foot of Mount Pfannhorn, passing former torrent gullies that are now secured by protective structures. At the top, a well-deserved lunch break awaits us with a magnificent view over the Puster Valley and the Dolomites. A varied tour combining nature, movement, and fascinating insights into the Alpine world. Depending on the tour, the hikes are suitable both for experienced hikers and for families and beginners. We enjoy a pleasant hike through the rural cultural landscape of Antholz Valley, with beautiful views and authentic farms. We start in Antholz Niedertal (1.209 m) and walk to the Maierhöfe farms (1.170 m; Pfaffingerhof and Kaltenhauserhof), continuing to Wiesemannhof (1.280 m). From there, we head further into the valley towards Antholz Mittertal, staying above the village on trail no. 11 and passing Wanzler (1.340 m) farm until we reach Innerkumpflhof. We then continue to the Eggerhöfe (refreshments available) and descend to Antholz Mittertal (1.200 m). On the opposite side of the valley, we follow trail no. 1, passing the Burgegger mill (1.300 m) and Nössler farm, before returning comfortably to Antholz Niedertal to our starting point. Our advanced downhill skills training in the bike park at Kronplatz is designed for experienced riders who want to refine their technique and take their riding to the next level. In this course, we focus on advanced skills such as active line choice, precise cornering, and confidently handling steep and technically demanding sections. Guided by experienced coaches, we work on a dynamic body position, improve bike control on varied terrain, and learn to stay stable and in control even at higher speeds. The goal is to build more confidence, flow, and efficiency on challenging trails while unlocking your full downhill potential. The rangers will take a spotting scope with you: a look at the natural features of our nature park and perhaps even spot some animals! With them, you can explore various aspects of nature. They can be found at the entrances to the nature park every Thursday in July and August.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

From June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Try out the biathlon feeling, with short introduction and shooting with the smallbore rifle. Anyone can join, with or without skis (children from 12 years).

Kids & Bike In this action-packed pumptrack session, kids learn how to ride their bikes through the pumptrack in a fun and safe way. With targeted exercises, we show how to build speed by pushing and pulling (“pumping”) – without pedaling. Kids improve their balance, coordination, and bike handling skills. Step by step, they get familiar with berms, rollers, and small obstacles – always having fun and progressing at their own pace. Perfect for young riders who want to discover the pumptrack and improve their skills! Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes. Highlights include the emergency services day on Saturday and the official ceremony with vehicle blessing and subsequent festive parade on Sunday. Music knows no borders. Three countries, one youth brass orchestra and 60 talented young musicians come together under the motto ‘Europe in Motion – Journey, Encounter, Transformation’. During a rehearsal week, the participants work on a demanding programme and present it at concerts in Dobbiaco (Toblach), Trento and Innsbruck. This marks the tenth time the Euregio has organised the orchestra in collaboration with the brass music associations of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino. The project aims to support young musical talent, bridge national and linguistic divides and provide opportunities for concert performances on a larger stage. Gustav Mahler Music Weeks Toblach 2026 The 45th Gustav Mahler Music Weeks will take place in Toblach from 11 July to 5 September 2026 under the theme “The Beginning.” Alongside long-standing Artistic Director Josef Lanz, Dirk Kaftan will shape the festival programme for the first time. Highlights include concerts by the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, as well as performances by promising young international artists. The programme is complemented by lectures, a symposium, the traditional hike to Gustav Mahler’s composing hut, and special encounters with guests such as Massimo Cacciari and Reinhold Messner.
