Alpinisteig The Alpinisteig is one of the most impressive historic via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites. It was built during the First World War by Italian Alpine troops and leads through a stunning high-mountain landscape with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Although the via ferrata is technically fairly straightforward, it should not be underestimated due to its length and the possibility of snowfields – particularly at the start of the season. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, you’ll enjoy a varied tour that combines history, nature and alpine adventure. Guests staying overnight at the Zsigmondy Hut can also start the tour directly from there. Night hike to the summit of Hinterbergkofel for sunrise … an unforgettable experience in the early morning hours! A walking tour next to the Three Peaks is always an unforgettable experience. The contrast between the soft south-side and the bleak north with the steep walls is as characteristic for these mountains as the long and spectacular alpine history around the First World War. The classical walking tour starts from the Auronzo-hut and goes to the Lavaredo-hut, the Three-Peak’s hut and “Lange Alm”. The tour is easy because we start already on an altitude of 2320m. Difference in altitude: ca. 400 m Hiking time: ca. 3-4 hours Equipment: Hiking shoes, rucksack with something to drink and eat, raincoat and warm clothes. Cost: 50€ per person.

We start with the public bus to Sexten/Sesto and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Helmhaus and to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. Since we will spend most of our time up on the beautiful border ridge and want to enjoy the mountain panorama flexibly, we recommend that all participants bring enough provisions, such as their own packed lunch. This way, we are independent of time and can take our breaks at the most beautiful viewpoints. We will make a short stop at the Sillianer Hütte for a cozy drink break. Bergila Relax Tour Our tour starts in the picturesque village of Reischach and first leads us towards St. Georgen and through the gentle landscapes of the Puster Valley. We ride along quiet paths through meadows and small villages before reaching Pfalzen, where we enjoy the sunny plateau scenery. A special highlight of the tour is a visit to the Bergila Gardens in Issing. Here we dive into the world of medicinal plants and alpine natural products. At the traditional pine oil distillery, we learn about the production of essential oils from local plants. Afterwards, a soothing foot bath with natural essences invites us to relax and enjoy the moment. Refreshed, we continue our ride and return via Stefansdorf back to Reischach. Starting from Reischach, we embark on a leisurely cycling journey towards Bruneck, tracing the cycle path that leads into the breathtaking Tauferer-Ahrntal valley. Following the course of the Ahr River, we meander through charming villages and lush meadows, swiftly arriving at our destination—the renowned Reinbach waterfalls, a captivating natural marvel. We enjoy a pleasant hike through the rural cultural landscape of Antholz Valley, with beautiful views and authentic farms. We start in Antholz Niedertal (1.209 m) and walk to the Maierhöfe farms (1.170 m; Pfaffingerhof and Kaltenhauserhof), continuing to Wiesemannhof (1.280 m). From there, we head further into the valley towards Antholz Mittertal, staying above the village on trail no. 11 and passing Wanzler (1.340 m) farm until we reach Innerkumpflhof. We then continue to the Eggerhöfe (refreshments available) and descend to Antholz Mittertal (1.200 m). On the opposite side of the valley, we follow trail no. 1, passing the Burgegger mill (1.300 m) and Nössler farm, before returning comfortably to Antholz Niedertal to our starting point. Our advanced downhill skills training in the bike park at Kronplatz is designed for experienced riders who want to refine their technique and take their riding to the next level. In this course, we focus on advanced skills such as active line choice, precise cornering, and confidently handling steep and technically demanding sections. Guided by experienced coaches, we work on a dynamic body position, improve bike control on varied terrain, and learn to stay stable and in control even at higher speeds. Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike of about 5,5 km continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. In the tranquillity of nature we learn many secrets of the forest as well as various forms of relaxation such as walking barefoot, treading water and relaxation exercises. Every Friday children can let off steam at the Gigante Baranci’s large mountain play area where there’s a wide-ranging entertainment programme with various guests and exciting games. Have fun!

The rangers will take a spotting scope with you: a look at the natural features of our nature park and perhaps even spot some animals! With them, you can explore various aspects of nature. They can be found at the entrances to the nature park every Thursday in July and August.

Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up, offering an authentic experience of traditional bread baking. In the traditional wood-fired oven, real farmhouse bread is made, while the entire process from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf is demonstrated. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – all carried out with great care and passion. After baking, the experience continues with a short farm tour, where the animals are introduced and insights into everyday farm life are provided. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy a tasting of freshly baked bread along with selected specialties from the farm shop. The course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. Each participant can take one loaf of bread home. Registration by Thursday, 6:00 pm.

From June to September, Kronplatz transforms into an impressive stage for one of humanity’s oldest traditions: falconry. Experience an emotional spectacle with majestic birds of prey and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of these extraordinary animals. During the approximately 1.5-hour show, an experienced falconer and his feathered companions present spectacular flight demonstrations — powerful, elegant, and completely free amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of South Tyrol. What makes this experience truly special is that the birds are not simply displayed, but showcased in their natural behavior. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close and witness their incredible flying skills firsthand. The meeting point is easy to reach, and the short walk to the event location is suitable for everyone — including families with strollers. Participation in the event is free of charge.

At the Kids Fun Camp, children enjoy a day full of action and fun. With dirtboards, grass skis and bikes, they explore exciting tracks, while the sports trampoline, giant airbag and tubing park ensure endless excitement. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.

Try out the biathlon feeling, with short introduction and shooting with the smallbore rifle. Anyone can join, with or without skis (children from 12 years).

Kids & Bike In this action-packed pumptrack session, kids learn how to ride their bikes through the pumptrack in a fun and safe way. With targeted exercises, we show how to build speed by pushing and pulling (“pumping”) – without pedaling. Kids improve their balance, coordination, and bike handling skills. Step by step, they get familiar with berms, rollers, and small obstacles – always having fun and progressing at their own pace. Perfect for young riders who want to discover the pumptrack and improve their skills! Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes.
