Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata The Arzalpenturm Via Ferrata, dedicated to Bepi Martini & Much Happacher and to friendship, is a spectacular new via ferrata offering wonderful views of the eastern Dolomites. The route crosses the narrow summit of the Arzalpenturm and leads up to the panoramic summit of the Arzalpenkopf. The descent via the secured Salasteig route or via the Arzalpenscharte round off this eventful day in the mountains. Saturday: Cortina Via Ferrata An exciting via ferrata adventure above the Olympic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The route leads to the historic Monte Castello, first passing through impressive World War I tunnels before continuing on a well-secured via ferrata to the summit. At the top, historic military positions and a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites await – a unique blend of nature, history, and alpine adventure. On Saturday, 22 August, and Sunday, 23 August, the Mitterolang Schützen Company invites you to its traditional Schützen Festival. Food and refreshments will be provided on both days. Locals and visitors alike can look forward to enjoyable hours in a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Mitterolang.

We start at the Outdoor Center in Reischach and drive above the Rienz Gorge to Olang. From there we take the panoramic path to the forest road that leads us to the Lanzwiese Alm at 1823m. The Lanzwiese is an ideal excursion destination - traditional farmhouse cuisine - unique view of the Olang mountains. After an extensive rest with food and drink we return to Reischach to the starting point.
